Catholic Students Unite to Support Catholic Charities and Serve Those in Need

Guided by faith, compassion, and a shared commitment to serving others, Catholic schools and campus ministries joined Catholic Charities to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in need throughout the Diocese of Allentown. Through their service, students are putting their Catholic values into action by helping provide food, support, and hope to vulnerable members of our community.

Allentown Central Catholic High School – Community Café Choice Pantry

Catholic Charities is grateful to the students of Allentown Central Catholic High School for dedicating their time and energy to support the Community Café Choice Pantry. Through their volunteer service, the students helped receive food deliveries, sort donated items, and label products to ensure everything was organized and ready to serve local families and neighbors in need. Their hard work and commitment help strengthen the pantry’s mission of providing essential resources to those facing food insecurity.

Marian High School – Community Café Food Truck

Marian High School students joined Catholic Charities in serving free meals to veterans through the Community Café Food Truck during the Valor Stand Down event presented by the Valor Clinic Foundation. This meaningful event brings together organizations and community members to support veterans. By helping serve meals to those who have served our country, these students offered more than food, they shared kindness, gratitude, and a reminder that our veterans are valued and never forgotten.

Catholic Campus Ministry at Lehigh University – Community Café Kitchen

Catholic Campus Ministry at Lehigh University, together with Fr. Stephan A. Isaac joined volunteers at Catholic Charities’ Community Café Kitchen at Immaculate Conception Church, Allentown to serve lunch to individuals and families.

Giving their time on a Saturday, the students helped provide warm meals and a welcoming environment for community members. Their service reflects the message of Matthew 25, reminding us that when we care for the poor, the homeless, and the hungry, we are serving Jesus Christ Himself.

Catholic Charities is deeply grateful to the students, educators, campus ministers, and clergy who dedicate their time and talents to supporting our mission. Their willingness to serve reflects the heart of our Catholic faith: loving our neighbors and recognizing the dignity of every person. Through these meaningful partnerships, we unite in faith and service to fight hunger, support those facing hardship, and bring hope to our neighbors in need. Together, we continue to put faith into action and make a lasting difference throughout our communities.
