More Than 550 Families Assisted Through Allentown Choice Pantry

Launching in January 2026, the Community Café Choice Pantry operated by Catholic Charities Diocese of Allentown has made a significant impact on the Allentown community, serving more than 550 unique families facing food insecurity. The pantry was created to provide individuals and families with access to nutritious food in a setting that promotes dignity, respect, and personal choice. Unlike traditional food distributions, the Choice Pantry allows guests to select the items that best meet their household needs, dietary preferences, and cultural traditions.
