Catholic Charities Services Go on the Road

Posted October 18, 2023 in News

Catholic Charities is taking its services on the road. Over the summer, Catholic Charities purchased a 2023 Honda Odyssey Van to better serve Schuylkill and Carbon counties. “This brand-new van will help us realize the strategic goal of removing barriers to service. We want to be an organization that, quite literally, meets people where they are,” said Catholic Charities Managing Director, Andrea Kochan Neagle.

On August 16, 2023, Catholic Charities employees, supporters, and friends gathered as Bishop Schlert blessed the van. The van will serve the community in many ways.  A case manager will utilize the van to provide services to people who are unable to travel to the Pottsville Area Kitchen or the Catholic Charities service office. We look forward to continuing to serve the people of Schuylkill and Carbon counties.

"The counseling services that I received changed my life. They made me a better person."
