Faith in Action: Holy Family School Supports Bundles of Joy
Holy Family CYO student-athletes from Holy Family School in Nazareth continues to show its commitment to serving the community through compassion and generosity. As part of their support for Catholic Charities’ Bundles of Joy program, the school community collected much-needed baby supplies to help local families experiencing difficult times. These generous donations will provide essential items and remind families in need that they are surrounded by a caring community.
Catholic Charities extends a heartfelt thank you to the Holy Family CYO student-athletes, families, and parishioners for coming together to celebrate the start of the Cross Country and Volleyball seasons while supporting this important mission. Your generosity will help provide resources to local families and parents through the Bundles of Joy: Pregnancy and Parenting Support Program.
Thank you for bringing faith, community, and generosity together—and for putting your faith into action by caring for our neighbors in need.

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Allentown was proud to participate in the 2026 Supportive Services for Veterans and Families (SSVF) Health Care Navigator Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. The event brought together health care navigators, VA staff, community partners, and SSVF grantees from across the country to connect, share best practices, and explore new ways to support Veterans and their families. Catholic Charities was honored to be part of these important conversations and to learn alongside fellow professionals dedicated to improving access to care, resources, and supportive services.

Growing Together: Supporting Parents and Children Through Every Step
The Pregnancy & Parenting Support Services, a program of Catholic Charities, recently brought parents together for an educational workshop designed to provide practical tools and encouragement for raising their children. Guest counselor Maria Gyory led a workshop on the Circle of Security approach, helping parents better understand and respond to their children’s emotional and developmental needs. She also shared information about Pennsylvania Early Intervention Services and Supports, including coaching and resources for families of children with developmental delays or disabilities, as well as developmental screening and tracking services for infants and toddlers who may be at risk for delays.
Throughout the workshop, parents were encouraged to be present with their children and find meaningful ways to engage with them, turning everyday moments into opportunities for connection, learning, and growth. The message was simple but important: being attentive, involved, and curious can make a lasting difference in a child’s development. The event concluded with parents receiving free books to take home, giving families another opportunity to share the joy of reading and learning together.
